A Consortium focusing on TRUST for our Digital Life
TDL Large scale Authentication Architecture
presented at ISSE 2011, Prague
22 November by Ronny Bjones, Microsoft
In this session, Ronny Bjones described one of the key projects of TDL called the Authentication Architecture paper and Pilot. The participants learned about a best practice how to build large scale authentication infrastructures that can accommodate an ecosystem of identity and attribute providers and bridge these to relying parties. In addition Ronny introduced the TDL pilot on this subject. TDL is building a sustainable infrastructure which can be leveraged by relying parties to reach out to users, using their existing identities such as Facebook but also eID. The pilot puts the user central and has a huge focus on addressing privacy and cyber security.
The Authentication Architecture paper will be published by the end of December 2011 on TDL Website.
The session was well attended and very interactive and participants are invited to join TDL and Architecture pilot.
